Jonathan van Smit is not just a photographer – he is a story teller. Browsing through his images is an adventure and I can only imagine how the stories will end.
Jonathan is originally from New Zealand. Now he lives in Hong Kong and work as an Investment banker. On his spare time he is wandering the dark alleys of Hong Kong and the city that he portraits reminds me of Sin City. Jonathan himself says that he is privilege to meet people with much different life experiences. He admire their bravery in surviving against the odds.
